For this couple, Cupid was craving something spicy! Though Jacqueline and Brad said "I do" at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum, they originally met at a “Chili Cookoff” charity event. As Brad recalls it, "She tasted my chili and really liked it, but refused to vote for me! That instigated our first conversation.”
This California meets Sweet Home Alabama wedding will make you fall in love with southern roots and rich neutral palettes. Their bridal party included 26 of their very best friends from across the country. While the Bridesmaids were in varying styles of “silver sage crisp” dresses, the groomsmen donned slate gray suits on their walk down the aisle. Jacqueline, in her exquisite ivory lace gown by Ines Di Santo, marched with absolute certainty to Brad.
The reception was a rustic sea of table styles with a mixture of rich blue linens and lace runners, and topped with vintage inspired chargers and goblets. Omni catering created Mouth watering grilled steaks drizzled in a herb salsa verde paired with a light herb skewer. The guests satisfied their sweet tooth with Slomama desserts. A retro ice cream truck complete with all your ice cream favorites! Just wait until you see what a great addition to the night it was.
As the day turned to night, the band had the entire crowd on their feet dancing the night away. The party of the year ended in a New Orleans inspired second line where the bride had quick-changed into an adorable jumpsuit. The streets of Santa Barbara flooded with a parade of happy wedding goers making their way to the after party!
