It was such an honor to help Neva & Peter plan their big day! Genteel humility describes this sweet, sweet couple in their endeavor to put forth an event especially for their guests. This couple requested that instead of them becoming a focal point, that the day be about celebrating love. We love that even though weddings are typically all about the couple, this couple chose to reflect that attention from themselves towards the people they care for. From the design to the photography, we feel that was accomplished. Ranch weddings are inviting and warm, letting guests feel as though they were partying at home. For a rustic-chic ranch wedding, Neva & Peter infused blush and cream florals with iceberg shades of greenery. Because the venue was a blueberry ranch, we added hints of Navy into their centerpieces, the thank-you card, and luggage-style assignment cards. The bridesmaids sprung for lace Navy gowns as well. We find that even the little details can pull together unique color schemes without seeming overwhelming. Gold containers, dots on the cake, and table number lettering brought out the lighter tones of the wood.
