We love working at this Oxnard venue, no matter how frequent, because no two weddings are alike! Our team got to play with all manner of props and decor on a playfully warm August afternoon. Alycia & Andrew were the perfect combination of sweet and sassy as they tied the knot by the surf. Petite Miss Alycia selected the most adorable and chic gown for her big day. Awesome for an aisle of sand, her dress came just above her ankles to avoid any dragging. Her straight and swept back locks paired well to give her just a hint of a retro vibe. She pulled it off so well! Her girls had teal robes to match their dresses and tiny starfish to offset a curly side-pony tail.
We had loads of fun with our chalk-art calligraphy signs, bold drift-wood pieces, and bits of netting for decor. We re-purposed the shells and starfish from the ceremony aisle to compliment the myriad of candles at each reception table. In a dire moment of draping need, our team came to the rescue to reimagine and quickly install some fabric behind the dessert table... talk about quick on our feet? You betcha. With our extra time, we even tied some extra sand dollars to the fabric for dimension. (They think of everything!)
