Rustic Cottage Wedding

What does one decide if one enjoys both pine trees and palms; mountain and beach? One can have both at the Martin Johnson House. With a view of the ocean and tall cypress all about, you can have the best of both worlds. We made that dream a reality for Maria & Carlos! Although it was November, it is always summer in California! Maria was not afraid to go bold with bright splashes of coral and citrus roses. For that dash of beach-front feel, the couple's cake was lined with sea-shells, tying the coral shades back in. Maria's bridesmaids wore long , dark-chocolate colored gowns that matched the linen napkins at the reception.

We will never turn down an opportunity to see lanterns at a reception--ever! Alternating with string lighting, the sky glowed hues of amber and magenta during the magnificent sunset. Our philanthropic couple dedicated their "Thank You" card to a donation suggestion for their favorite organization and charity--GHEI. Such an incredible way to involve your guests in the ways that touch your heart.
